ROSCOMMON SFC:NEW CHAMPIONS will be crowned following the defeat of Castlerea by Elphin in Hyde Park. In the other semi-final, St Brigid's qualified for their first final in three years.

Elphin stopped Castlerea’s bid for a third consecutive title with a 1-7 to 0-9 win and qualified for their first final since 1986. The decisive score was a goal from a penalty by Paddy O’Connor in the 42nd minute after Frankie Cregg was hauled down.
