The Newmarket Cambridgeshire winner She's Our Mare is to make an earlier than expected return to Britain.

The Newmarket Cambridgeshire winner She's Our Mare is to make an earlier than expected return to Britain.

So well is she after her defeat of Bomb Alaska and 31 others three weeks ago that Tony Martin intends to send her back for the Murphy's Draughtflow Hurdle at Cheltenham a fortnight on Sunday.

"She came back from Newmarket in tremendous form," explained the Co Meath trainer.

"I'd been planning to give her a break but she's so well that we've decided to go for the Murphy's Draughtflow.

"Although she's been on the go for much of the year, she's only had eight races and five of those were on the Flat, so it hasn't been a hard season for her."

The six-year-old will be having her first run over jumps in Britain since she won the Crowther Homes Swinton Handicap Hurdle at Haydock Park in May.

Stable-companion Linden's Lotto will run at Punchestown this weekend as preparation for a bid to repeat last year's win in the Sporting Index Chase at the same Cheltenham meeting.

Cheltenham have announced that the feature race of the meeting, the Murphy's Gold Cup, has been rescheduled to be run at 2.50 p.m. on Saturday, November 13th to avoid a clash with the Scotland v England Euro 2000 play-off match.

Mick Fitzgerald was yesterday freed to renew his partnership with See More Business. He has been given the all clear to ride the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner in Saturday's Peterhouse Group Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby.

There had been fears that the jockey would be claimed to ride at Ascot the same afternoon by Nicky Henderson.

But See More Business' trainer Paul Nicholls said: "Mick's agent Dave Roberts phoned me this morning and said that he had spoken to Nicky Henderson who confirmed that Mick would be available to partner See More Business."
