Derby v Blackburn

Derby are likely to rest Craig Bryson after he returned in the east midlands derby against Nottingham Forest last weekend. Michael Jacobs could replace Bryson in the starting line-up against Rovers, although Ben Davies is also an option.
Blackburn manager Michael Appleton faces a selection headache at right-back. Chelsea loanee Todd Kane is cup-tied, Adam Henley remains out with a hamstring problem and Bradley Orr is not due to return from his loan spell at Ipswich until next week. Forward Josh King is back in training but may not be risked, while Mauro Formica has been loaned to Italian side Palermo until the end of the season.

Middlesbrough v Aldershot

Middlesbrough full-back Justin Hoyte has a hip problem and will undergo a fitness test as will striker Scott McDonald (tight hamstring).
Central defender Jonathan Woodgate (calf) is working his way back to full fitness, as is striker Ishmael Miller (ankle). Midfielder Muzzy Carayol could return to the squad following knee surgery.
Danny Hylton returns from suspension for Aldershot just in time to fill the void left by fellow striker Dani Lopez, who has returned to parent club Stevenage following a loan spell.
New loan signing Lionel Ainsworth made his bow as a second-half substitute in midweek and may make a full debut but Terrell Forbes is cup-tied.

Brighton v Arsenal

Brighton will check on defender Bruno, sidelined for the past five matches. Inigo Calderon will continue at right back if he does not make it. Former Spain midfielder Vicente could feature after making his first league start of the season at Blackburn in midweek.
Casper Ankergren may get the nod ahead of Tomasz Kuszczak in goal, while Argentinian striker Leonardo Ulloa is awaiting his debut after joining from Spanish side Almeria.
Arsenal will be without captain Thomas Vermaelen, but midfielders Abou Diaby and Tomas Rosicky are set to be available again. Mikel Arteta and Francis Coquelin remain out. Forward Gervinho is away at the African Nations Cup and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is not yet in contention.

Norwich City v Luton Town

Declan Rudd is expected to play in goal for Norwich, while fit-again midfielder Andrew Surman, playmaker David Fox and winger Elliott Bennett are likely to get a chance to impress.
Full-back Steven Whittaker (hip) has resumed full training this week so could come back into contention, but centre-half Sebastien Bassong (calf) may be rested again while striker Steve Morison (thigh) and goalkeeper John Ruddy (thigh) remain sidelined.
JJ O’Donnell will return to the Luton squad after suffering a broken nose during the 1-0 win over Wolves in the previous round. Striker Jon Shaw (foot) is also expected to be fit while defender Simon Ainge and winger Scott Neilson are both cup-tied.

Macclesfield Town v Wigan Ath

Pablo Mills is suspended for Macclesfield but the Silkmen may be able to welcome back defender Carl Martin. He was absent for the league victory against Kidderminster last weekend. Stefan Payne is cup-tied.
Roger Espinoza and Angelo Henriquez are likely to start after making their Wigan debuts in the third-round win over Bournemouth, while Callum McManaman and Fraser Fyvie could also make rare appearances. Arouna Koné is on African Nations Cup duty with the Ivory Coast while Antolin Alcaraz (groin), Ivan Ramis (knee), Adrian Lopez (hamstring), midfielders Ben Watson (broken leg) and Albert Crusat (knee) and striker Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) are unavailable.

Huddersfield v Leicester

Managerless Huddersfield could be without midfielder Adam Clayton (knee). Clayton was replaced at half-time of the Championship game against Watford by Keith Southern, who is expected to return to the starting line-up.
Danny Ward remains sidelined after breaking a bone in his foot, while defender Joel Lynch has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury and remains sidelined.
Experienced midfielder Richie Wellens is fully fit again for Leicester after a knee injury and defensive duo Zak Whitbread (calf) and Irish international Sean St Ledger (hamstring) are on the road to recovery but today’s game may come too soon for either to return.

Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur

On-loan Leeds midfielder Ross Barkley has been denied permission to play by parent club Everton but Michael Tonge, Paul Green and David Norris are all vying for a return to the line-up. United manager Neil Warnock will choose from an otherwise unchanged squad which will include striker Luciano Becchio, who this week handed in a formal transfer request.
Defender Jan Vertonghen has recovered from illness and is available for Spurs. Centre-back William Gallas, who has been out with a calf injury, could also feature, but France defender Younes Kaboul (knee) is unavailable. Emmanuel Adebayor is on African Nations Cup duty with Togo and midfielder Sandro (knee injury) is ruled out .

Brentford v Chelsea

Jake Bidwell misses out for Brentford due to suspension after being sent off against Leyton Orient on Tuesday, so former Millwall utility man Scott Barron is set to deputise.
Midfielder Harry Forrester was rested for the game against Orient but is expected to come back in, while defender Shaleum Logan and on-loan Fulham forward Marcello Trotta could also be recalled.
Eden Hazard starts a minimum three-match ban for Chelsea but Blues captain John Terry looks set for his first start since November. Fellow defender David Luiz is ruled out of the trip to Griffin Park and probably the midweek fixture at Reading after suffering a recurrence of an ankle injury.

Stoke City v Manchester City

Stoke defender Andy Wilkinson’s back problem is likely to keep him out. Ryan Shotton played 45 minutes in a midweek friendly after a hamstring injury and may not be risked. Thomas Sorensen is set to replace Asmir Begovic in goal.
Manchester City will check on Samir Nasri after the forward was hampered by a virus this week. Right-back Pablo Zabaleta is fit after overcoming the foot injury.
Midfielder Yaya Toure and defender Kolo Toure are at the African Nations Cup with the Ivory Coast while right-backs Micah Richards and Maicon (both knee) remain out.

Oldham Athletic v Liverpool

Lifelong Liverpool fan James Wesolowski is set to captain Oldham in the absence of fellow midfielder Dean Furman, who is away with South Africa at the African Nations Cup. Winger Cristian Montano (thigh) remains the only injury absentee.
Liverpool goalkeeper José Reina has a thigh injury but would not have played at Boundary Park anyway as manager Brendan Rodgers regularly opts for deputy Brad Jones in cup ties. Rodgers could have a problem at left-back with José Enrique (hamstring) still not fully recovered and Glen Johnson (hamstring) also doubtful.

Manchester United v Fulham

Ashley Young (knee) and Jonny Evans (hamstring) will remain on the sidelines for United, while manager Alex Ferguson must decide whether to stick with David de Gea in goal – after his late mistake against Spurs cost United three points in their Premier League clash at White Hart Lane – or recall Anders Lindegaard, who took over for the FA Cup replay win against West Ham United.
Fulham midfielder Kieran Richardson will miss out against his old club because of a calf injury. Mahamadou Diarra (knee) is not likely to play again for at least a month whilst Kerim Frei (pelvis) is also an absentee.

Hull City v Barnsley

Hull goalkeepers David Stockdale and Mark Oxley are ineligible so Eldin Jakupovic is expected to return. Manager Steve Bruce has no new injury or suspension problems, but leading goalscorer Sone Aluko remains sidelined.
Barnsley will be without midfielder Stephen Dawson after he suffered serious ankle ligament damage in last week’s draw at Ipswich. Kelvin Etuhu is hoping to keep his place. Winger Jim O’Brien is rated 50/50 to face Hull. Defender Jim McNulty (hamstring) is still struggling while manager David Flitcroft must decide whether to leave striker Danny Rose on the substitutes’ bench or give him a start after he scored twice in his last three appearances.

QPR v MK Dons

QPR striker Loic Remy is a doubt because of a tight hamstring. Midfielder Esteban Granero and fullback Armand Traore return, but forward Junior Hoilett is out while central defender Ryan Nelsen will be rested. Midfielder Samba Diakite is at the African Nations Cup, full-back José Bosingwa is out and strikers Andrew Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (hip) are longer-term injuries.
MK Dons will be without cup-tied striker Izale McLeod and injured midfielders Stephen Gleeson and Luke Chadwick. Boss Karl Robinson also has concerns over leading scorer Dean Bowditch and Daniel Powell and Ryan Harley. Chris Lines, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, is in line for his debut.

Reading are without striker Jason Roberts (hip). Midfielder Jem Karacan should be fit, while goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (shoulder) and midfielder Hope Akpan (cup-tied) are unavailable.
Striker Adam Le Fondre could start after scoring two vital goals as a substitute in the 2-1 league win over Newcastle.
Sheffield United defender Marcus Williams is hoping to return from illness to face former club Reading. Neill Collins (fractured cheekbone), Matt Hill (broken jaw) and long-term absentee Lecsinel Jean-Francois (knee) are all sidelined.

Bolton midfielder Keith Andrews is a big doubt but Marvin Sordell is pushing to start. Stuart Holden and Josh Vela are expected to be involved but defenders Matt Mills and David Wheater remain on the sidelines along with midfielder Mark Davies. New loan signing Craig Dawson is cup-tied.
Everton will be without full-back Seamus Coleman. David Moyes is likely to pick a strong side, with fit-again winger Kevin Mirallas and defender Johnny Heitinga pushing for a start. Tony Hibbert (calf) and Darron Gibson (thigh) remain sidelined.
