This afternoon's refixed Harp Larger FAI Cup third round match between Portmarnock and Dundalk was once again in doubt last night after the Junior Cup holders reacted angrily to being instructed by the FAI to play the game at short notice. An appeal may be held at 10.30 a.m. this morning.
Should the game go ahead at Baldonnel, Portmarnock manager, John Hayes will have a full squad to choose from, Hayes but expects to start with much the same line-up that earned victory against Rockmount in the second round.
The visitors, meanwhile, have a couple of problems to contend with.
John Flanagan is sick while David Hoey has a hamstring injury.
Ian Hill is also ruled out, which means Martin Murray will probably bring Tommy Byrne in, start John Whyte and keep Greg O'Dowd in the centre of midfield.
