THE FAN who entered the England dressingroom after Friday night’s World Cup match has been arrested and charged with trespassing.

Pavlos Joseph, 32, will appear in court this morning. Joseph passed through security checks and gained access to the England changing area, where he says he spoke to David Beckham.

He claimed he had been trying to find the toilets in the Cape Town stadium and had taken a wrong turn. Joseph, from Crystal Palace, south-east London, said he told Beckham that fans were bitterly disappointed.

“I looked David straight in the eye and said: ‘David, we’ve spent a lot of money getting here. This is a disgrace. What are you going to do about it?’” He said that when Beckham asked him who he was, he responded: “I’m Pavlos and I actually need the toilet.”
