Faughs lifted their 31st Dublin senior hurling title at Parnell Park on Saturday. St Vincent's failed to score from play during the second half - a goal from a penalty seven minutes from time by Tomas McGrane was their only score of the period.

Faughs finished up with 14 players, substitute Denis Kelly receiving his marching orders for striking following a bust-up 14 minutes into the half. Seamus Morkam's goal seven minutes into the second half gave Faughs a 1-6 to 1-5 lead.

Colin Fetherstone was unlucky to be denied by O'Mahony before McGrane, with St Vincent's only second-half score, crashed to the net to level the scores from the penalty spot. Aengus O'Grady and Johnny Williams added the winning points for Faughs.
