Motor Sport:Formula One chiefs have hit back at the fans who taunted Lewis Hamilton earlier this month by announcing the FIA is to launch an anti-racism campaign at this year's Spanish Grand Prix.

World motorsport's governing body will launch "Racing Against Racism" on April 27th at the Barcelona circuit where the Briton - who has a black father and white mother - was targeted by spectators during testing.

Hamilton's team McLaren have already issued their support to the campaign and all stakeholders in the sport, including teams, drivers, fans and national governing bodies, will be asked to sign up.

"The FIA was appalled by the scenes of racist abuse," an FIA spokesman said.
