Finn Harps 3 Crumlin United 0 FIRST DIVISION Finn Harps proved to be too strong for the FAI Intermediate Cup champions Crumlin United in an entertaining third-round clash in Ballybofey last night.

Harps had the game in the bag inside the opening 19 minutes as they stormed into a 3-0 lead with captain Packie Mailey firing in the first from close range on nine minutes. Crowd favourite Kevin McHugh tucked away the second from close range on 16 minutes and then added a third with a thundering effort three minutes later.

Seán Kelly went closest to nicking a consolation goal.
