Paul Flynn has been recalled at full forward on the Waterford senior hurling team to play Down in the National League at Dungarvan on Sunday next, while centre forward Michael Molumphy - who spent last year in New York - will be making his league debut.
Waterford are fielding 12 of the team that reached last year's All-Ireland semi-final with Sean Daly, Michael White and Anthony Kirwan the absentees. They are replaced by Molumphy, Billy O'Sullivan and the free-scoring David Bennett whose marksmanship played a major role in WIT's Fitzgibbon success yesterday.
Meanwhile, Limerick's manager Eamonn Cregan has given the callup to teenagers Brian Begley, Brian Geary and James Butler for Sunday's NHL game against Antrim at the Gaelic Grounds. Veteran Mike Houlihan is listed at full forward.
