Carlow 2-18 London 1-10: After their 11-point defeat in yesterday's encounter at Ruislip, London remain pointless at the foot of the league table.
And it is little comfort to their supporters that, on this occasion, the team produced their best performance of the 2005 National Football League series.
With his sights set on the forthcoming Leinster championship, Carlow manager Liam Hayes must have been impressed with the overall display of his team, particularly forwards Simon Rea, Ritchie Sinnott and Brian Kelly, who between them accounted for 2-10 of the winning total.
Scott Dolan, Paul Hehir, Barry Solan and Eamon Brennan were the best of a London side that contributed to their own defeat by conceding several needless scores.
