Bray Wanderers 2 Drogheda United 2: Bray showed great fighting spirit to twice come from behind to deny Drogheda, who had held the lead following a Declan O'Brien brace.

Strikes in each half from defender Jody Lynch and striker Stephen Fox, on his 200th appearance for the club, salvaged a point for Pat Devlin's men.

Drogheda were on top early on and opened the scoring on 15 minutes when winger Shane Robinson threaded a neat ball though for striker O'Brien to beat the advancing Chris O'Connor from 10 yards.

Bray regrouped and sustained pressure eventually told on the stroke of half-time, when Lynch netted from close range after Colm Tresson had miscued Philip Keogh's cross from the left.

Against the run of play, Drogheda forged ahead. In the 61st minute, O'Brien capitalised on a deflected Bray clearance to force the ball home from five yards.

Bray never gave up, though, and 11 minutes from time Fox snatched an equaliser. He raced on to a long ball from goalkeeper O'Connor and poked it home under a shuddering tackle from Dan Connor, who had raced off his line.
