Fr Manning Gaels won the Longford senior football championship crown for the fourth time after a disappointing county final at Pearse Park.

Nothing went right on the day for a young Granard side, who were bang in contention in the first half and were unfortunate in the 14th minute when corner forward David Hynes hit the post.
