Thierry Lacroix, flanker Laurent Cabannes and Gloucester wing Philippe Saint-Andre were recalled to the France team to play Italy at Auch in tomorrow's Latin Cup.
Lacroix takes over from Brive out-half Alain Penaud, Cabannes is back for Brive open-side Olivier Magne and Saint-Andre resumes in the troublesome left wing slot which neither Brive's David Venditti nor Sebastian Viars filled successfully.
Lacroix (30), won the last of his 38 caps against Ireland at the Parc des Princes in February, 1996, when he went off injured.
Cabannes (33), won his 45th cap against Wales in Cardiff in March 1996.
The 30-year-old Saint-Andre captained France for 29 matches before being injured against Romania in 1996 and returns as skipper.
