Marco Fu, the number one seed, scorched through a 57 minute evening session to take an overnight 8-4 lead in the best of 21 frames final against Bjorn Hanaveer in the World Under-21 snooker championship in Carlow. Fu took five frames from a possible six as his Belgian opponent was left to count the cost of some sloppy play.
