The replays of the All-Ireland club hurling semi-finals, both of which ended in draws last Sunday, are almost certain to be played on Sunday week. It is also expected that they will be played at the same venues - Thurles and Mullingar - with extra time if necessary.

A decision on the replays and venues will be made by the Games Administration Committee of the GAA at Croke Park tomorrow.

The final of the competition and the All-Ireland club football final are both fixed for Croke Park on St Patrick's Day and any further draws in either competition will have to be catered for, should they happen, so as to fit in with the fixture list.

The semi-finals of the football are fixed for next Sunday. Castlehaven (from Cork) are down to meet Erin's Isle from Dublin at Thurles and Corofin from Galway will meet Dungiven from Derry in Ballyshannon.

The other weekend games at inter-county level are in the McGrath Cup in Munster, and the FBD League in Connacht. In Munster Kerry will meet Clare in Killarney while Waterford will meet Cork in Dungarvan.

In the FBD League in Connacht a rare if not unique situation has arisen. Matches have been fixed for both Saturday and Sunday next weekend with Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon playing both days. On Saturday Mayo meet Leitrim in Charlestown and Sligo play Roscommon at Coola. On Sunday Roscommon travel to Ballinasloe to meet Galway and Sligo are at home to Mayo in Enniscrone.

The reason for the double engagement is that one round of the league was lost earlier when snow forced a postponement while another round of the league was lost because Connacht drew with Ulster in the Railway Cup semifinal.

There will be another round of the league on Saturday, March 7th when Leitrim play Sligo in Cloone while on St Patrick's Day Mayo play Galway in Ballinrobe. The final has been fixed for March 22nd.
