The league was such a mixed bag, from the show of strength against Mayo to the collapse in Killarney to the revival in Cork. More potent inside forwards than most sides, yet still unsure who will line up anywhere in defence. Vast majority of them don’t have an Ulster medal, which ought to concentrate minds.
