Leighton Glynn: potent force
Leighton Glynn: potent force

After a good championship win against Longford, last summer ended in calamity for Wicklow in Armagh. This season’s league was competitive and the comeback in the last match, against Tipperary commendable. There is a continuing reliance on Leighton Glynn and James Stafford but also one of the meanest defences in the league for goals conceded. Laois though will be difficult.

Last good day: Three years ago they nearly had a sensational qualifier win in Armagh's Athletic Grounds but after extra time it finished a draw. Wicklow lost the replay.
