OFFICIALS AT Galway have been forced to call a 7am precautionary inspection tomorrow ahead of their afternoon meeting due to an adverse weather forecast.
Although the track is currently raceable, conditions are testing and with a significant amount of rainfall forecast, officials thought it best to take a look early in the day.
"They are talking about maybe 25 millimetres of rain in places but it is not persistent so it may hit us or it may not," said racecourse manager John Moloney.
"The ground is heavy at the moment and if we do get all of that rain, we are going to struggle." Naas have no problems today.
