GALWAY senior hurling manager Cyril Farrell and his selectors have made three changes for Sunday's National League game against Tipperary in Thurles.
Galway, who lost to Kilkenny last Sunday, bring in Joe Rabbitte for his first game of the league at full forward. Daragh Coen, making is senior debut, comes in at right corner forward.
A native of Clarinbridge, Coen won an All Ireland under 21 medal with Galway last season. Rory Gantley and Alan Kerins are the players to lose out. Rabbitte was part of the Athenry side that won the All Ireland club final on St Patrick's Day.
The third change is in defence where Michael Donoghue comes in for Michael Healy at left half back.
The Waterford senior hurling selection committee have given a vote of confidence to the team that hammered Kerry last Sunday for this weekend's clash with Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn.
They have made one positional change with Ken McGrath moving to centre forward in a direct swap with Peter Queally.
