Digest/ CHAMPIONS TOUR: Bob Gilder fired a second successive five-under-par 67 to complete a four-shot victroy in the Constellation Energy Classic at Hayfields Country Club outside Baltimore, Maryland.
The American finished on 18-under-par 198, four clear of compatriot Morris Hatalsky, to claim the $225,000 first prize.
Des Smyth closed with a three-under 69 to lie in joint 39th on two under.
US TOUR: Jason Gore went to the turn in two under par yesterday to stay atop the leaderboard during the final round of the 84 Lumber Classic at Mystic Rock, Farmington, Pennsylvania.
Gore was on 12 under par, two clear of Carlos Franco and a futher shot ahead of Ben Crane and Tim Herron.
CHALLENGE TOUR: Per G Nyman put all of his faith into his magic putter and was rewarded with the Rotterdam International Open after an intense finale saw the Swede win by a single stroke from the Welsh duo of Kyron Sullivan and Craig Williams after sinking a testing, 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th for the title.
The Welshmen piled the pressure on Nyman as they came down to the 72nd hole, giving themselves a chance for eagle after reaching the green in two.
EUROPEAN WOMEN: France's Virginie Lagoutte claimed her maiden Tour victory in the €165,000 KLM Women's Open at Kennemer G&CC, after defeating Wales' Eleanor Pilgrim at the second extra hole.
Lagoutte carded rounds of 73, 75 and 67 to claim the €24,750 in prize winnings.
