Trevor Giles is expected to return to the Meath team for Sunday's match in Enniskillen against Fermanagh. Giles played in Meath's opening match against Clare in Navan but missed last weekend's defeat against Sligo because of club commitments.
A weakened Meath side is expected to line out in Enniskillen because of a combination of injury and club duty as well as holiday and domestic calls. The team will not be selected until later in the week.
In the meantime Kerry make one change for their match with Dublin with Eamon Fitzmaurice returning at centre half back after helping UCC to win the Cork county final, with Stephen O'Sullivan relegated to the bench.
Sligo make one change for their trip to Newry to face Down, who have delayed naming their team. Paul Durcan, who made a big impression when he came on for Sligo against Meath retains his place at midfield. Sean Davey, who started at midfield on that occasion, now moves to right half forward where he replaces Kevin Giblin.
Donegal have made only one change from the team which was beaten by seven points by Galway last time out. Against Armagh Brian Roper played at right half forward but now returns to the exclusion of Martin Coll who is due to emigrate to Australia. Jim McGuinness and John Gildea continue in their midfield partnership.
The new Mayo county team manager, Pat Holmes, will not pick his team for their match against Kildare until Saturday night or even Sunday morning. This situation is caused because of the replay of the Connacht club final between Crossmolina and Roscommon Gaels which is fixed for Crossmolina at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Holmes will be hoping that James Nallen and Enda Lavelle, both from the Crossmolina club, will be available for the Sunday match. However Kieran McDonald is under a month's suspension. Laois, having beaten Monaghan last time out, have made three changes for their match with Cavan.
Kevin Fitzpatrick will play at centre back for Joe Higgins, Declan Rooney comes in for Joe Murphy while David Sweeney replaces Pauric Clancy at left half forward. Rooney and Noel Garvan form a new Midfield partnership. In the meantime there has been some confusion about the throw-in time for the Dublin versus Kerry match in Parnell Park on Sunday. The official starting time is 2.30 p.m.
Clare, who travel to Derry's Celtic Park for their match on Sunday, will be greatly weakened by club commitments, both football and hurling.
Among those missing from the trip to Derry are hurlers Joe Considine and Colin Mullen from Doora-Barefield. Odran O'Dwyer, Peadar McMahon, Barry Keating and Alan Malone are also missing.
Clare will bring in Ronan Slattery and Denis Russell who will play at centre forward in the place of the unavailable Paul Hehir.
