A feature of yesterday's Mungret Cup final at Musgrave Park yesterday was the accurate goal kicking of out-half Barry Clifford.

Clifford helped a struggling Glenstal side to a 6-0 interval lead and kicked six penalties in all and added a conversion to a late try from winger Adrian Brennan.

Reward for their fourth successive victory in this B Schools final is a place in the Munster Schools senior cup against St Clement's in Limerick next Wednesday.
