The footballing futures of goalkeepers Bruce Grobbelaar and Hans Segers hung in the balance last night after the two players appeared before a Football Association disciplinary hearing charged with misconduct.
Grobbelaar and Segers, who were cleared earlier this year of match fixing allegations, are now charged with breaking the FA's rules on betting.
They will learn their fate at midday today at the FA's London headquarters at Lancaster Gate.
If found guilty, ex-Liverpool and Southampton keeper Grobbelaar and former Wimbledon goalkeeper Segers could either be given a warning, fined or even banned from playing, coaching or managing again.
