Richard Coughlan shot a second-round 71 at the Pebble Beach pro-am last night to add to his opening round of 74.
The 26-year-old Irishman carded a terrible quadruple bogey seven at the par-three second hole, however he recovered somewhat later and is fortunate that the cut comes after today's third round.
Matt Gogel shot a course-record 10-under-par 62 to take a three-stroke lead over Vijay Singh after the second round.
Tiger Woods was 11 shots worse than Gogel, with a one-over 73 that left him with a 36hole score of 139, five-under par and eight shots behind Gogel, who is at 131.
Vijay Singh is second at 10under 134, while Brad Elder, Ronnie Black and Tom Scherer and Frank Lickliter are tied for third at 135.
