Munster JFC Final: Kerry retained their Munster crown in dramatic fashion at Páirc Uí Chaoimh last night when Tommy Griffin fisted the winning point deep in injury time.
The champions dominated the first half and, boosted by a goal from captain Brian Scanlon in the 20th minute, they led by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time after playing against the strong wind.
It got better for Kerry a minute after the restart, when Kieran Foley slipped home their second goal, which put them five points clear.
However, Cork put in a storming second half and, with Kevin O'Sullivan unerring from frees, they drew level with five minutes to go.
