Finn Harps manager Felix Healy will be looking for a repeat of last week's encouraging performance - despite a 3-0 defeat - at Shelbourne, with the added ingredient of a goal or two when UCD pay a visit to Finn Park tonight.
Finn Harps have scored just twice in their eight games so far - with none in their last five - and are not surprisingly rooted to the foot of the table.
With a fully fit squad now available to him, however, including his choice strikers, Kevin McHugh and Chris Breen, Healy is confident Finn Harps' season can begin in earnest.
"When you have McHugh and Breen out, it lessens your fire-power quite significantly," said Healy.
"To be honest, (with both of them back) we created more chances against Shelbourne than in the previous five matches put together and it's only a matter of time before Kevin and Chris start scoring goals.
"We showed against Shelbourne that we are a decent side and I expect to go on from there."
UCD manager Peter Mahon knows the significance of tonight's game.
"Harps have to win this one, we don't," he said.
"It would be great to get something from it and I'm confident we will. We won up there last year and the three games between us were very tight with two 1-0s and a 1-1 draw."
Mahon's son Alan remains out having lost over a stone in weight following a virus and a bout of food poisoning as UCD work off the same 16 that drew with Bohemians last week.
Striker Gary Crossan comes into the Harps panel for the first time this season.
