Tennis:The draw for the David Lloyd Riverview National Indoor Championships, which take place from December 27th to 31st, has a number of Irish Davis Cup players involved as well as the best of Ireland's young talent, reports Johnny Watterson.

The men's and women's senior event will start on the 27th, with many eyes likely to fall on young Amy Bowtell. The 14-year-old won a European under-16 event in Gothenburg this year.

The teenager goes into the competition as the fourth-seeded player. The Greystones player is also the top seed in the under-18 junior event.

Also involved in the senior draw are second seed Rachael Dillon and third seed Mariyana Levova, who hopes to topple number one seed, Welsh player Olivia Scarfi. She comes in at the top of the ladder as last year's winner, Emma Murphy, is sidelined by injury.
