Two years ago fans of the Formula One would have watched the hapless Damon Hill suffer hydraulic failure with three laps remaining on Budapest's Hungaroring.

Hill doesn't like the track, and perhaps memories of the failure of the car might colour his judgment. His hydraulic failure was the result of a glitch to just one component - a washer costing about 50p.
