Inter Milan marched into the UEFA Cup quarter-finals last night after overcoming last month's 2-0 defeat to Strasbourg with a stunning 30 victory over the French side in Milan.
Ronaldo, who missed a penalty in a lacklustre performance, scored in the 28th minute, Javier Zanetti volleyed the second in the 48th minute and fellow Argentinian Diego Simeone finished the Houdini act 17 minutes from the final whistle.
Strasbourg ended up with only 10 men on the field after Jean-Luc Dogon was dismissed for a brutal 83rd-minute foul on Ronaldo but, with few exceptions, the French side had never been in the match anyway.
