Cricket Ireland has confirmed that the two home one-day internationals against Pakistan will take place on May 23rd and 26th at venues yet to be decided.
Pakistan will base themselves in Ireland for a week as part of their build-up to the Champions Trophy in England and Ireland coach Phil Simmons is delighted with the additions to the summer fixture list.
"Pakistan are a formidable one-day side and it's a great way of measuring where we are as a team," he said. "We've had wonderful tussles with them in the past, and for many, Irish cricket was born the day we beat them in the 2007 World Cup. That win grabbed the attention of the world and we haven't looked back since."
