Equestrian News: Irish riders enjoyed a successful trip to Oslo over the weekend with Cian O'Connor recording his sixth Puissance win on Casper when sharing the spoils in Saturday's highlight with Belgium's Pieter Devos and Linotte de Sohan.
The riders battled it out to a fifth round but decided to call it a day when the wall reached 2.20 metres.
Yesterday, O'Connor finished fourth on Complete in the 1.45-metres final won by Denmark's Linnea Ericcsson and Volstrups Casey, while Cameron Hanley continued his run of form at the Norwegian four-star show by coming fifth in the Rolex FEI World Cup class on SIEC Livello.
That 39-starter, 1.60-metre competition was won by Sweden's Helena Lundback on the 11-year-old Cortez mare Madick.
Fourth in Friday's opening event with Livello, Hanley came out the following morning to win the jump-off class with the Oldenburg stallion SIEC Royal Star.
At the two-star show in Dunkirk, France, Capt David O'Brien scored a narrow victory in the small grand prix on the Furisto mare Newmarket Girl.
