THE Island golf club will host their first international match when Ireland play Wales in a boys' international today and tomorrow.
Mervyn Owens (Mallow) and Sean McTernan (Co Sligo) are the only survivors from last year's European Championship-winning team and they will be joined by Darren Crowe (Dunmurray), James McCracken (Malone), Paul McDonald (Old Conna), Derek McNamara (Connemara), Mark O'Sullivan (Galway) and Martin Poucher (Limerick). Team captain is Jimmy Greene (Grange).
