CRICKET:Ed Joyce will be looking to resurrect his England career after being named yesterday in the second-string Lions squad for their tour to India later this month, reports Emmet Riordan.
The 29-year-old from Bray was jettisoned during the World Cup earlier this year, not helped by making just one in England's clash against Ireland in Guyana.
He was dropped after making 10 in their next game against Sri Lanka and failed to earn selection for any of England's summer fixtures.
Joyce may be joined in India by England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, who could continue his rehabilitation from ankle surgery by taking part as a batsman only.
The Lions depart for India on January 24th, with spinner Monty Panesar in the squad before travelling to New Zealand.
