Impressive Kells booked their place in the next round with a comfortable win over Newpark at Westmanstown.
Charles Corrigan, the mobile Kells front-row player, opened the scoring with a try and although Richard Murphy responded with a penalty, the Co Meath side - in only their second year in the competition - kept up the tempo. Just before the break Aidan McEntee struck for the first of his two tries.
McEntee breached the Newpark line again in the second half and while opposite number Andrew Wigglesworth gave Newpark a brief glimmer of hope, with Murphy converting, there was to be no escape route as Fergus Black crossed for another Kells try.
Newpark could never match their opponents up front and always played second fiddle.
