Bohemians take a strengthened squad to Longford for this evening's game at Flancare Park, with manager Stephen Kenny adding Stephen Caffrey, John Lester and Andrei Pereplyotkin.
Caffrey and Pereplyotkin are both in contention to start and there is a fair amount of excitement around the club about the 18-year-old Ukrainian striker, who arrived on a season-long loan from Southampton this week after performing so well in the friendly against Spurs.
"I have a choice to make in the case of both of them," said Kenny yesterday, "but we'll wait and see. Andrei is certainly a very good player, I wouldn't have brought him in otherwise, but he's small and still very young and I wouldn't want to rush things with him."
After a somewhat patchy performance in last week's win over UCD, Kenny said there was a noticeable improvement in training this week and he is hopeful his side continue their strong run of results at his former club.
Longford boss Alan Matthews has Tom Silke back from suspension but he is expected to stick with the 11 that won at Derry City.
