Michael Kinane is scheduled to return from injury on the Brian Meehan-trained Donna Blini in tomorrow's Group One Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

It's five weeks since Kinane fractured a wrist at the Curragh but he said yesterday: "The arm is fine and I'm very happy the way things have gone. I will be taking the ride on Donna Blini and I'm looking forward to it."

Ten have been declared for Cheveley Park including the Irish trio of Beauty Bright (Aidan O'Brien), Modeeroch (Jim Bolger) and Sweet Afton (Eamon Tyrell).

Kinane is due to be at Longchamp over the weekend but with Azamour absent he is still on the lookout for a ride in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, for which 18 horses were confirmed yesterday. They include Aidan O'Brien's St Leger winner Scorpion and the favourite Hurricane Run, who is the likely ride of Kieren Fallon.

Kinane said yesterday: "I don't want to get carried away in case something goes wrong with the arm. But my agent is on the case for the Arc."

There is action today at Downpatrick where Denis O'Regan can score on Amid The Chaos in the first Beginners Chase.
