Greg Kraft showed there is no place like home when he opened a two-stroke lead after the second round at the $3 million Doral-Ryder Open in Miami yesterday. "I am a Florida guy," Kraft said after a five-under-par 67 on a breezy morning at the Doral Resort's Blue Monster course.
He posted a nine-under 135 halfway total, while two-time US Open champion Ernie Els of South Africa and PGA Tour rookie Greg Chalmers of Australia were equal second on 137.
