Sligo Rovers 3 Bray Wanderers 0:"The odds were stacked against them but my players didn't roll over," said Bray manager Eddie Gormley after his side slumped to a 3-0 defeat at the Showgrounds on Saturday night.

Three players saw red and Gormley and his assistant were ordered from the dugout area during a game that had a few ill-tempered moments.

Sligo's Daniel Ventre and Bray's Mark Duggan were dismissed on the half-hour mark following some untidy tackling and the visitors were down to nine men when Clive Delaney was red-carded after 63 minutes.

Matthew Judge put the home team ahead after two minutes when he pounced on a fluffed clearance by Bray goalkeeper Steve Williams who mishit Gary Cronin's back pass.

Sligo have never lost a game in which Fahrudin Kudozovic scored and the Bosnian was on target from the penalty spot after 64 minutes. Substitute Stephen Manson scored Rovers' third in the 90th minute.

Sligo manager Paul Cooke was pleased. "Results and little bits of luck are going our way and any win is a good win." Cooke added the team's current good run had brought "a new kind of pressure on the players to achieve something this season."
