Manager: Peter Taylor
A difficult first season for Taylor, who started well but then seemed helpless as the team went crashing down the table with a record-breaking run of games without a victory.
Key figures from the Martin O'Neill days - Robbie Savage, Muzzy Izzet and Matt Elliott - remain at the club, but Taylor has now acted to steady central midfield with the signing of Wise and strengthen his attacking options by bringing in Snowcroft.
Both should have a positive effect and it is hard to see the club getting into serious difficulty this season, although it is almost as hard to see them challenging for anything either.
May have to settle for being anonymously mid-table.
