Leinster required two late penalties to clinch the Under-21 Interprovincial series in this championship decider at Stradbrook on Saturday. Donovan Rossi twice found the mark just when it seemed Ulster would deny Leinster a grand slam of wins.

Ulster went seven points to the good after prop Chris Schofield charged over with Derek McComb adding the conversion. A subseqent penalty left them 100 up at the interval but Leinster dominated the second period. Wing forward Eoin Collins scored a try which Andrew Dunne converted but after Dunne hurt his ankle, Rossi was called in to take charge of the kicking responsibilities and proved well up to the task.
