Rugby: Leinster Schools won a tough final tour match 23-7 against a strong Buenos Aires Under-18 side. Played on a very heavy pitch at the Hurling Club, Leinster dug deep to prevail and their excellent tackling and well-organised defence kept their line unbroken except for one occasion.
A superb second-half performance saw the Irish side record their fifth successive victory and finish the tour unbeaten.
Lock David Gannon burst through after 10 minutes for a try, which wing Cathal Connolly converted. Buenos Aires then scored a converted try five minutes later and at half time the score remained at 7-7.
Connolly then kicked three penalties in the 40th, 48th and 51st minutes to ease the pressure. In the final minute wing Breffni O'Donnell rounded his man to score a try, which Connolly again converted. Leinster had beaten Rosario 26-19 last Saturday.

King's closest rival, Gareth Doran, the number two seed and younger brother of Davis Cup man John, is having a much tougher time at the other end of the draw but got through by ousting Eoin Heavey 6-4 6-3.
