Leinster retained the AIB-sponsored women's interprovincial golf title at Carlow yesterday, with a conclusive 7 1/2 1 1/2 victory over Connacht. Leinster were practically home and dry after the morning foursomes yesterday which they won 2 1/2 1/2. In the briliant afternoon sunshine, the Leinster women won five of the six singles, with Darragh McGowan, the sole Connacht winner, defeating Sinead Keane by one hole.
