Roscommon turned on the style at Feenagh against youthful Limerick. Nigel Dineen had Roscommon's first goal after 10 minutes and Francie Dolan had another nine minutes before the interval, at which point Roscommon led 2-6 to 0-5. Substitute Tom Grehan scored Roscommon's third goal, while Limerick had to wait until three minutes from the end for their first point of the second half.
