The three-pronged march on London by supporters of the Irish provinces left standing in Europe started to take shape yesterday, albeit with Ulster still waiting to find out the venue for their clash against Saracens on the first weekend in April.
The Heineken Cup quarter-final tie against Mark McCall’s side has been scheduled for 6.30pm on Saturday, April 6th, with Saracens still hoping to play the game at their new Allianz Park ground in Barnet.
The London club are presently in talks with Barnet Council in a bid to raise the capacity of the ground, which has an artificial pitch, from 10,000 to 15,000 to reach the minimum capacity allowed under ERC rules.
If Saracens get the green light, it would see Ulster receive 3,750 tickets for the tie under the 25 per cent rule, the same amount likely to be received by Munster for their game against Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop.
That game will take place on Sunday, April 7th at 2pm, with Quins needing to just add 200 temporary seats to bring their capacity up to the 15,000 mark.
Leinster’s Amlin Cup quarter-final against Wasps goes ahead at the 10,200-capacity Adams Park in High Wycombe on Friday, April 5th with an 8pm start.
All three games will be covered live by Sky Sports.
