Fermanagh 0-14 London 0-5: Fermanagh as expected got past the exiles but this was a much improved London, though they struggled after their captain, Johnny Niblock, was yellow-carded in the 23rd minute for a high tackle.
London were then just a point behind but by half-time the gap had widened to five (0-8 to 0-3).
London should have had a goal in the 25th minute but 18-year-old Philip Morgan delayed his strike. As the second half wore on Fermanagh pulled away and Barry Solen's point for the visitors 13 minutes from time was their last score.
The game was watched by GAA president Seán Kelly and his predecessors Peter Quinn, Jack Boothman and Seán McCague as Quinn officially opened the John Vesey Stand at Brewster Park.
