Louth will represent Leinster when the All Ireland Inter County finals are played at Carlow golf club on April 24th. In an exciting Leinster final at Arklow on Saturday, Louth proved just too strong for Wicklow, winning 3 1/2 to 1 1/2.

Although losing the top match, where Nigel Beirth lost on the 18th to John Groome, wins for Brian Ronan, Fran Gannon and Seamus McParland over Paddy Mulford, Aland Condren and Dermot Synnoyy secured Louth's place in the final.
