MOTORSPORT: Kevin Lynch's Cavan win has escalated the Derry driver into a challenging second spot in the Dunlop National Rally Championship, only four points behind the new leader Ray Breen.
Lynch is on a charge and starts favourite to win Sunday's Circuit of Munster, while Breen chases that so far elusive first championship round victory.
Niall Maguire is the number one seed for the Limerick MC's round four, but the reigning champion is having a lacklustre season to date. Run out of Adare, the stages are within a 15-mile radius of the Limerick town, with central service in the grounds of Copeswood College, Pallaskenry.
