St Mel's, Longford advanced to the second round with a comfortable win over Enniscorthy VS in Tullamore. St Mel's made the better start with out-half Stephen Lynch scoring three early tries. He also landed a penalty to give his side a commanding 25-point lead.
Reynolds scored his second and Aaron O'Connor added a sixth before half-time. Stephen Lynch scored two tries and Ray Kenny a penalty for Enniscorthy in a more even second half.
