Wexford champions St Martin's cruised into the last four of the Leinster Club SHC at Trim yesterday when Meath champions Kilmessan failed to score until the second period.
The men in maroon, who overcame Leinster champions Rathnure to garner their county title, were 2-9 to 0-0 to the good at the break with goals from Robert Lambert and veteran John O'Connor.
O'Connor netted for a second time on the resumption of play from a penalty in the 38th minute, immediately after Kilmessan had registered their opening score with a point from Eddie O'Brien.
The rout was then completed with a superb goal from Philip Murphy after a good build up involving county star Rory McCarthy and Barry Lambert.
