IRELAND flanker Denis McBride will captain Ireland in the Hong Kong Sevens tournament which takes place from the 21st to 23rd of this month. The 10-man squad will leave for Hong Kong this day week and that means that those in the squad from Irish clubs will miss two All-Ireland League matches.
No club has two players in this panel and, as the rule is now that a club must have two players involved before being granted a postponement, they must play their league matches as scheduled. The only uncapped player in the squad is the London Irish flanker Kieron Dawson.
